My Charity Work
I support two important charities at the heart of our community here in Berkshire. Newbury Cancer Care is a charity close to my families heart who were there when my mum was ill during my childhood. I feel like it is my time to give back to them, I am delighted to now be Newbury Cancer Cares ambassador. Thames Valley Air Ambulance is particularly important being in a rural area and an important charity for farmers who work remotely.
The Berkshire Farmers Charity Christmas Tractor Run is a favourite in the Christmas Calendar, travelling through to Thatcham and nearby villages this has grown year on year.
Ellies Welly Fundraiser
I created Ellies Welly to help fundraise for Thames Valley Air Ambulance, people were able to donate for a shoutout on my social media, it appeared at various events throughout my journey. I've raised over £20,000 for both Newbury Cancer Care and TVAA since I started fundraising.
berkshire farmers Christmas Tractor Run
At Christmas we host a tractor run starting at Rookery Farm and heading through my local villages. The money raised goes directly towards Newbury Cancer Care based at West Berkshire Community Hospital. Many local businesses sponsor this event and I am always keen to hear from businesses who would like to be part in this event or sponsor a tractor.
